Domestic Violence, Awareness, and Experience! GET HELP!!

The title may surprise you, and I know is something way different that you are use to reading on my blog.  I really want to write about this topic and give you as much information, as  I can. This blog may have some harsh things but if you are willing to listen and hear what I have to say, stay tuned.

This topic, it really gets me emotional because, its an experience, I am not talking about this just because..., I have really experienced this and an opinion I have and my reality. Well I am one of those kids that either mom or dad is going through Domestic Violence, and I am saying dad's as well, because believe or not there dads that get hurt too, is the other way around. But in my case, my mom was the one getting hurt, I witnessed so many things that of course I'm not going to get in to. And its true when they say, "you can forgive that person, but you cant never FORGET" and let me tell you its hard and in the beginning is even harder, and when you are a kid and your watching all of this happening is even worse, because you are little you don't know what to do. Now that I'm an adult, there are so many things that happen in my ordinary life, that makes me remember all I went through, and let me tell you is an emotional roller coaster. Even you when your not thinking of anything from the past but there's one thing thing that happening in that very moment, that of course makes you remember or take you into memory lane. And sometime you cant just help it, is there. I am speaking for all those kids that have been or going through this same situation, and all the adults, teens etc. I know its hard, but THERE IS HELP. There is no wrong with getting help, and to all those mothers and dads out there and hopefully you are reading this, if you are going through Domestic Violence, please leave that situation and get help, do it for your kids if you have them, and especially for yourself. But you really have to be ready to leave this situation behind. My mom took her 20 years to leave my dad, because since I can remember this has been and ongoing thing. I also remember that probably the last 2 years that my mom was with my dad, he tried to hit again but me and my brother were old enough, to defend her, and that's when my mom, my brother and me said enough is enough. Let me tell you there's a point in your life that you are gonna say "enough is enough" of the situation your in. Although I have been through all of this, I always confide in God, and everybody needs to have faith, because God never lets us down. I have heard so many stories that probably my story and what I went through is not that awe full. But you hear stories that people have been killed because of Domestic Violence, it get really bad, that why please get help before something worse can happen.

www.thehotline.org is a website that has the 1800 number so you can talk to somebody about your situation, and what I love about this website is that, if you don't want to talk on the phone, you can chat online with them as well..

Graze Box Review

Hey guys well today, I woke up in a great mood, because yesterday was not my day, but anyways. Well I received one of many subscription boxes I am subscribed to, a little while ago. It's from www.graze.com, I really recommend you go and check it out. My first impression of the website was that you can choose you subscription, either every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or 4 weeks and its $6 and shipping is included, so you won't have to pay shipping, isn't that great!!?, every time you get it. What I really loved about this website and the subscription box is that, you can cancel the box at any time or point ONLINE!! I really love that because, you know I have been having so much trouble with that lately, if ya have read my blog, ya know. But anyways I think all the subscription boxes should do that, why so much hassle over the simplest thing of cancelling a subscription. Well back to the graze box, it has 4 different kind of snack, it has sweet and salty, and there also healthy snacks. So if you are interested, I really recommend this subscription box to all of ya!! Spicy Subscription..Don't Recommend

Yesterday I received a subscription box that I subscribe to like a month ago. Spicy Subscriptions is an adult subscription box, when I first saw this website, I was intrigued by it and well it doesn't hurt to try something different lol. But anyways, when you go to www.spicysubscriptions.com the main picture they have there is this

2-3 Full Products

1-2 Toys

2-4 Trial Products

and their cheapest box is $34.95, but since it was my first time signing up, I got the box for $27.95, that at first I thought it was a great deal, especially because "supposedly" I was gonna get (the amount) of products on top. First of all I don't even know why they advertise something that is not, like for example, why say 1-2 to toys, 2-3 Full products, and 2-4 trial products. I didn't get trial products either, and neither Lubricants, and I was really dissapointed for that. AND A PEN??!!!! REALLY??!!! what is a pen for in an adult subscription box come on!!! And for this subscription I had already had in mind, just to have it for a month and after just cancel, and this is another thing that I am really upset because I have emailed them like 4 times and they have not responded. Just a while ago I was searching on Google about cancelling the Spicy subscription and I found this lady complaining about it. http://www.mommamuse.com/2014/02/14/spicy-subscriptions-deluxe-spice-box-february-2014-review/#comment-16317 I am really disgusted of how Spicy has very bad customer service, and  was also relieved that I am not the only one that feels that way. So I don't really recommend this box especially if you want just one box, just because its going to take time for them to respond back to your emails and cancellation. Hope this was useful..

 

what I got!!

Experience on subscription boxes til this day!

Well this couple of days, I have been pissed and so mad. When you buy something, you expect for costumer service, to be nice, patient and actually help you in whatever the situation may be. Well I have been wanting to subscribe to some of the subscription boxes. I checked their website for any customer service number or any way I can contact them, for info about cancellation on subscription. There is only one way to contact them, and is by email. Spicy Subscription, Julep, and  I am also subscribed to Graze, and Birchbox, that this I will talk in a bit. SpicySubscription.com, I have emailed them bunch of times and its been 2 weeks and I have not received no response, and I really don't know what to do to cancel this? Julep.com, to be able to cancel you have to call in order to cancel, and I did, and the lady told I was going to received an email stating my cancellation in 24 hours, that I have not received. So I really don't know if they really cancelled my subscription. Graze.com I think is a a great website! I love the way I can cancel my subscription online instead of any calling or emailing!!! And last but not least is Birchbox.com. On my last blog I was explaining what happened to my box, and well somebody commented, that I should email birchbox of the incident that happened, and so I did, and let me tell you, I love their customer service, because when I emailed them, an hour later they answered back, and I as really surprised of how fast they reacted.. So this are different samples of how different subscription boxes react to their customers, and if they really care for their customers. I am giving you my personal experience and if anybody has some advice or how I can handle this please comment and let me know. Thanks in advance!

When Subscription boxes go wrong!

Well let me start by saying I am MAD!!!!!!

I was so waiting since last week, when I got an email, letting me know that my BIRCHBOX was being shipped. So, I was waiting very impatiently for the box to arrive at my house, especially because its the February box, I though it was gonna be special since is valentines month. Well when I got the box from my mailbox, you could hear the things inside moving around, so instantly I thought it wasn't packaged properly, and I didn't think nothing of it. When I opened the box (opening with excitement, lol) it had a O.P.I top coat nail polish broken, the tip of the nail polish was out and the nail polish was all over inside the box, all of the other products were covered in nail polish. So instantly with out even seeing the other products, got disappointing. I am so dissapointed at birchbox because they always package theeir box very well, I just dont know why they didnt this time, and I dont know if it was only me or the other peoples boxes as well. Anything to say just leave comment.

Sunday, but there still things to be done!

Well it's Sunday today, and when people are out with their families, I'm at home washing,drying, and ironing clothes, sometimes is exhausting too much, although we are just three, we have too much clothes lol. So how do ya spend your Sundays? and what can be worse than that, feeling bad, a headache that feels like a train just ran you over, and a throat that is scratchy and hurts when you pass saliva! OH NO!!. I can just lay down and sleep the day away, but there is too much to do, and my room is a mess. But like always the moms have to be the superheroes and clean clean clean!!!!

Make extra money online

If anybody has Facebook, they know that there are groups you can get in. Well there's different kind of groups there, such as just meeting friends, cooking, selling items etc. I am in different kind of groups in my area to sell items that i don't need any more or new items as well. I am also an admin to a group, and that's how I make my extra money, I always have clothes or items that I just don't use no more, and I post them on the Facebook groups. And I think that is way better than doing a garage sale, and not because its wrong, cause come on I have done plenty myself outside my house, but because I think is a great opportunity to sell your items to the price you want. In some cases (has happened to me) when  you have a garage sale, people are always telling me, let me have it $1, $2, $3 etc less, and sometimes you are not gonna get what you paid for (if the item is new or has never been used) you of course are going to loose profit or you just not going to get what your paid if the product is new. But always have a negotiable mind. That's ho you can make some extra money, if you have some stuff laying around that you don't use and is in good condition sell it on Facebook groups, just search for group around your area.
